about VFX (visual Effects)

You might have seen films with heavy visual effects and heard people say “The visual effects were amazing!”, but what exactly are visual effects and how do they work? In this post, I’m going to give you a rough overview of the possibilities that visual effects can offer, then we’ll go into more detail .

VFX or visual effects are a way of mixing real film shooting with false or animated images. For instance, a movie that shows the hero jumping off the ground and flying into the air, is created using VFX. Almost every single movie these days uses VFX.

Anything that’s difficult to film then we use visual effects to achieve it. For example, aliens attacking the earth is impossible to film so we use visual effects for all the alien creatures to destroy the city. This is a very obviously example of visual effects. A lot of time we use visual effects in more subtle areas. For example, if there’s a scene in the story that needs to be in another country, an imaginary location or a city in the future/past. It’s just inefficiency to go to another country or build a set. Visual effects in these situation are really helpful.

For all the filmmakers, the bottom line goal is get people to watch your film. Many filmmakers think visual effects are a luxury reserved only for those big budget blockbuster films. This is not the case, vfx is not just about robots and dinosaurs.
With various vfx techniques today, visual effects could be a great tool not only for telling the story but also for saving you time and money.

A lot of visual effects examples will be discussed in the future posts. Here we just need to have a rough concept of what visual effects is about and why we use it for films. We hope you enjoyed this post and please feel free to leave us any comments.

Career in vfx & compositing hindi

  • we will be going to discuss Careers Scope and Jobs Opportunities in vfx and Animation .

Computer generated effects aren’t just for futuristic movies and superhero films anymore. They’re everywhere. Switch on your TV and a CG effect is probably hidden in one of the movie scenes or advertisements you’re watching. Visual effects (VFX) is not meant to be noticeable, and that takes some serious talent and hard work. During the course of your special FX career, you’ll work with lots of raw footage to transform it into a work of art. All you’ll need is knowledge of relevant software, an artistic bent of mind, some engineering skills and a basic understanding of physics, which will help avoid glaring mistakes like a well-built Arnold in ‘Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines’ lightly bouncing off the street like he weighed next to nothing. So, if you’re ready to enter this field, let’s look at what you can expect.

  • GROWTH OF  VFX

When the official trailer for India’s most expensive movie ‘Baahubali’ was released on YouTube, it garnered more than 60 lakh views and 35,000 likes thanks to the two-minute long clip featuring lush landscapes of mountains and waterfalls, temples, and palaces battlefields – all made possible by 17 VFX studios with 600 artists.
